PRESS RELEASE — 4D Inspector® and LineUp® Pro presented in Japan at the FARO 3D User Conference Asia Pacific 2015

4th June, 2015, Tokyo — Gexcel and SGS Gexcel Japan have just attended the FARO 3D User Conference Asia Pacific 2015/Japan where they have presented 4D Inspector^® (to remotely control and to run an automatic 3D monitoring project): a solution able to transform the Focus^3D in a 3D automatic monitoring system.

Several demos of the powerful new LineUp^® Pro target-less registration tool have created large interest and surprise among surveyors and technicians present at the Conference.

JRC 3D Reconstructor - LineUp^® Pro is so easily able to perfectly align tens of scans without any geometry constrain, in a so short elaboration time, using only 20% of scan overlap, that the alignment problems can be considered as solved.

Gexcel is present as partner and sponsor at the 2015 FARO Asia Pacific Distributors' Meeting presenting the new JRC 3D Reconstructor 3.0^® version with a new innovative user friendly interface, the capability to color the Faro point clouds and with the advanced LineUp^® Pro tool for automatic markerless registraton.  
Gexcel is present at the meeting also with a live demo of the 4D Inspector^® automatic 4D (3D + time) real-time monitoring software. The 4D Inspector^® monitoring solution is a part of the Industrial Measurement Portal Solution (IMP) Gexcel approach, that includes the Scan Armor^® for Faro, the OPPMS^® (Open Pit Mine Monitoring System) and a list of accessories like the Control Unit (composed by a IP67 enclousure) containing UPS, rugged PC, internet connection.
The 4D Inspector^® has been nominated as candidate for the Faro Asia Pacific 2015 best product award. Gexcel is more and more involved on providing innovative SMART 3D software and solutions for the 3D surveying and documentation international market.

PRESS RELEASE — Gexcel announces the new LineUp® Pro tool based on the exclusive Gexcel AutoScanRegistration® technology

3rd October, 2014, Brescia (Italy) — Gexcel Srl (software and solutions provider in the Geomatics sectors) announces the release of the new LineUp^® Pro based on the exclusive Gexcel AutoScanRegistration^® technology.

The AutoScanRegistration^® technology allows the automatic alignment of series of scans that have at least  a 20% overlap. With the AutoScanRegistration^® approach, it gets very easy to align scans without targets (i.e. when it is difficult or impossible to take on field target positioning).
